I was always warmly welcomed into Bonnie and Dave's home throughout my childhood and teen years. The Chapman household was my second family for a long time. I have fond memories of tuna casserole with green peas, peanut butter cookies, an impeccably clean house full of antiques, riding to old car festivals, driving us to dance clubs in KW, and her dry sense of humour. I wish happy memories upon all of her family and friends who had to say goodbye too soon. RIP

Every time we saw Bonny she had a smile on her face, even when she looked physically exhausted. We send our deepest heart condolences to all who love her and will miss her physical presence in our lives. I know her memory will live on in our hearts as a reflection of beauty, love, joy and determination. She reminded us all of the precious gift of life with her strong will to fight her battle with cancer for so long. May she now rest in peace in the embrace of the divine.

I have many wonderful memories of Bonnie....on the ballfield, at the curling club. She was a good friend to my family and I was privileged to have known her for so many years. Story shared: A Wonderful Grandmother....

I first met Bonnie about 9 years ago when she would volunteer at North Dumfries Co-op Preschool while her grandson, Matthew, attended. She was truly a dedicated Grandma, participating often in Matthew's many activities in the community. In recent years Bonnie's devotion to Matt has taken her to the arena many, many times. She has rarely missed one of Matt's hockey games and her support has meant a lot to the whole team. Luckily for us, Bonnie welcomed our son, Will, into her home, from time to time, to play with Matthew. His comment when he heard of her passing Sunday was, "Matt's going to miss her a lot...she was a really good Grandma." We couldn't agree more...and we will miss her too.

Bonnie will be missed! I will always remember her on our famous shopping trips across the border...always looking for a bargin for her wonderful grandson whom she loved so much.
