Hi Sue, That is pretty neat how you met your hubasnd from your sister's Memorial Day Party. I met my hubasnd at my factory job at the end of 1992. We have been married for 15 years too. Time is going by. Have a great weekend! :-)

To the Gurney family, especially the brothers of Llolyn Jerseys I lost my mother many years ago, much younger than yours of course, but no matter what age we are when it happens, it is a life changing event and difficult to be prepared. While I do not clearly remember your mother, by knowing all of you I know she is a special person and it is only her due that she will be missed (and remembered) by all of you and many others. Llolyn Jerseys played a valuable role in our Jersey herd personally, and have a positive reputation across Michigan. That rarely happens unless there is integrity in the "human" as well as in the cattle "genes". You can take pride in this, it was earned. Our heartfelt prayers go out to the Gurney and extended families at this time. Wow, almost 94 years, an amazing life to rejoice over! Aunt Ev is in a better place joining the angelic choirs with her daughters and Uncle Lloyd and my Dad (Stan). She has a new body with no more pain or tears, just imagine! I can see her vibrant smile when she saw her loved ones once again! I just want to take a moment to recall arriving "early" one morning to help with morning chores. I'll never forget how surprised everyone was to see me at 5:30 am? and then going into the house to have breakfast with Aunt Ev and Uncle Lloyd after chores. A :-) memory which will be forever sealed in my heart! In the next days and weeks and years ahead, may Words of Hope, Hugs of Comfort and Special Memories of her life bring peace and comfort to your hearts and minds!
