I met Uncle Adam a few years ago at Hilda's house and it didn't take me long to figure out how much he liked his sweets.

I like to bake with healthy ingredients so I wasn't sure if Uncle Adam would enjoy my cookies but I whipped him up some anyway. Before long he worked his charm and had me baking his very own cookies! I'll never forget the ear to ear smile on his face and the feeling of his big wet kisses whenever I dropped off some goodies for him.

It makes me laugh when I picture Uncle Adam holding on tightly to his box of cookies instead of leaving them on the table to share with everyone. It meant that much more knowing how tightly he held on to those cookies like a prize possession.

Love you Uncle Adam!

I'll never forget the time I hadn't seen Uncle Adam in a few years (I was away in College and came home to visit), I had no idea that he could do jumping jacks. So one morning at Stampede Breakfast (Hosted by Mary Ann and Al - Grandma Evelyn's house), Uncle Adam stood up in the middle of breakfast and did about 25 jumping jacks without breaking a sweat.

Not too long ago, when he wasn't feeling so well I asked him if he remembered the time he did jumping jacks for me. He didn't say anything, just smiled at me, stood up and repped off about 15 without much thought.

Thanks for the memories Uncle Adam, I know you're smiling somewhere.

We extend to you all, our deepest sympathies on the passing of a very special man. It was always a pleasure to visit with Uncle Adam when he came to Saskatchewan to see his family here. How many 92 year old men do you know who have jumped out of a box to surprise their brother on his 90th birthday? What a great guy, he will be missed! We are with you in our thoughts and prayers!
