Our sincere sympathy to you, Judy & Bert, Jennifer, Tanya & Bill - we can identify with your deep loss - having lost our son Dan (46) in September, 2015. Although it has been some time since we saw Jeff, wi8ll always remember him as a sweet boy, when we babysat him and he played so well with our Dan, when they were young and free spirits. They are together again now and at peace - and we have two angels watching over us. We will remember him as he was in the photo with the soccer ball!

Jeff was a great guy. I went to Southwood with him. I remember him in such a positive way. He was very supportive of everyone around him. We shared musical interests.

We lost touch.. but I never forget a great person. I just found out about this through another friend who also went to Southwood. He touched many.

Judy, Bert, Tanya, Jennifer and family Mom and Dad just told me of Jeff's passing. It has been a long time since I have seen any of you and did not have the pleasure of meeting Jennifer. I read Tanya's letter and just have this image in my mind of Jeffrey riding around on the tractor and yes, I am sure his grandparents are holding him tight. I am saddened by the news of Jeffs passing and still find it hard to believe as I drive past Jenn and Jeffs home in Blair every day. I didn't know Jeff for a long time but enjoyed each encounter with him and felt he was a truly genuine person. May he rest in peace .

Dear Jeff, You were my big brother, someone I looked up to growing up and this is something I never dreamed I would be writing so soon in our lives. You have left us far to young. You taught me the love of music and so much more. I will always remember your musical talent and all the bands you had practing out in the garage, your smile and your laugh. Growing up we had our differences as all sibling do, but as we grew older we were able to sit down and talk about everything going on in our lives. You were always one of the first people I wanted to message when something happened in my life, and I can't count how many times in the last few days I have picked up my phone to message you. You are now with the loved ones we have lost and I know you are in Grandma and Grandpa's arms again and talking tractors and stuff with Grandpa. I love you very much Jeff and I miss you terribly. I am so saddened by the loss of Jeff. Jeff was a creative, witty, intelligent soul who I had the privilege to teach at Southwood Secondary School for 4+ years. Jeff was an accomplished musician. Prior to Southwood he had been a singer in the Cambridge Boys Choir. During his years at Southwood he was a leader in the music department playing trombone in the concert and jazz bands but also actively assisting with concert setup and management. I remember driving Jeff one time to a MusicFest competition outside of Toronto. Jeff's witticisms and wry sense of humour kept me laughing both there and back. I also remember his love of Rice Krispy squares--we lunched together! Ah...Jeff was amazing. He will be missed.
