My condolences to your family. I admired Joan & knew her thru Girl Guides & the Trefoli Guild, which I am now a member. She was always willing to share her expertise, especially in cooking. I have a couple of her recipes. May she Rest in Peace. God Bless Bonnie Drago Windsor

I had the priviledge of living at Sacred Heart in 1986 where Joan was the cook. I fondly remember terrific, long lunches with great conversations and laughs. Among many cooking skills, Joan taught me how to freeze fresh sweet corn on-the-cob to savour it throughout the winter. Joan loved showing her girls lots of home making skills: she just beamed when speaking about her volunteer engagements. She was a Christian who lived the witness of Christ's love. Rest in Peace, Joan. Please pray for us.

Please extend my condolences to Joan's daughter Marie. Joan was a wonderful friend for many years. We met at TOPS- Centre for Seniors. A remarkable and beautiful lady. I still miss her terribly when I attend concerts and plays (she was a good buddy)and the healing mass each year. Farewell my friend and pray for me. A mass will be offered for Joan at my parish Our Lady of Guadalupe in Windsor.
